Grass-root communities at risk for food, energy, and water insecurity due to environmental degradation and climate change are the least consulted in designing a more sustainable future
Enable community-defined innovation at the nexus of food, energy, and water systems (INFEWS) to promote technology-enabled sustainable development
In the 21st century, we all need more sustainable ways to grow the food we eat, generate the power we rely on, and protect the water we cannot do without. Grass-root communities with direct experience in extreme weather and/or environmental degradation have insight that could be harnessed to develop tech-enabled innovation where food, energy, and water systems overlap.
